Yahoo mail push notifications stopped working around 5/25/23. I have Firefox v113.0.1 from the automatic updates. The notifications were coming, now they don't. Firefox still sends notices from other email services, and yahoo notices still work with other browsers.

How to I go back to the previous version of Firefox?

For years I have used Firefox and every update has been seemless. This one is terrible!!

Every time I click to open a new tab, it opens a new page Every time I try to change tabs from previous to the update, it will not change. I am stuck on that tab Every time a new page is created I cannot open it because it has a "block pop up windows" and this is a setting that I did not change. I have had to turn off all blocking just to be able to change my password, to be able to typoe here.

You have basically stopped my studies until this can be rectified and I doubt anyone will repond to this message

Firefox always plays sound through my speakers, even if I select another audio output. The only way I've found to get around this is to open sound settings and disable my speakers. Then Firefox will use the correct output device.

No other applications have this problem, and all my audio devices work fine, excluding Firefox. Any help would be appreciated!

I have noticed in the last few days that Firefox is keeping my Mac from sleeping. This seems to have started around the time of updating Firefox to version 113.0.2 which happened 4 days ago. Any thoughts on how to debug this?

How do I disable Ctr + End keyboard shortcut when editing text inside a text box?

Every time I use Ctr + End when editing text, page scrolls down. It gets old and is really frustrating. Is it a bug in Firefox or crappy code of webpage?

When I print to a PDF file, Firefox changes internal links (#go-there) to full external links (either https://the.website.tld/paper.html#go-there or file://home/me/paper.html#go-there).

This is obviously wrong, since the links are internal to the document.

How to I change this behavior?

When I go to Google.com, the cursor is in the Firefox browser's address field. And I have to click in the Google search field to start my search - if I remember to do so. Why can't the cursor just be in the Google search field?

I could search in the address field, but I'd have to highlight/delete the address. So it's easier to just click in the Google search field. But I rather just have the cursor be in the search field automatically. Is there a way to get that done? Or is that asking too much?

I cannot connect to Facebook using Firefox, but can connect fine using other browsers like Chrome. It used to connect automatically but now requires a password and although I enter the correct password Facebook does not accept it. When I try to change the password Facebook does not seem to receive or allow any changes. I assume it is a Firefox browser problem since I can connect using other browsers on both my desktop and cell phone.

Recently an update popped up and I allowed it. Since then, two major changes. #1 each time I open Firefox it loads all my bookmarks at the same time. I have to close it and reopen a new tab instead. #2 when I try to search on Google it automatically transfers to Microsoft Bing which I do not want. Any suggestions?

I recorded a webcam video from the Firefox browser and that video played in Safari browser. but the video is not supported in Safari browser which is recorded from Firefox.

The game opens and appears to load sometimes with a welcome screen and then it does nothing and stays frozen or other times it tries to help the loading which does not work at all Then it sometimes appears to load and says "LOGGED IN" but the screen is blank. I have reported this repeadly to Facebook Farmville and Zygna to no avail. I did load Mozilla on another computer and managed to get the game to come up after an hour trying everything. I does not work on Chrome either. I got a message once that said it was s protocall problem that was being worked on. PLEASE HELP

I added Firefox as another browser to my phone for business reasons (email and scheduling program). Since then, about 2-3 weeks, my data usage on my phone has a major increase where I am over on my gigabytes (which I never do). In the past 2 weeks, I used Firefox 4 times for less than 10 minutes. Verizon says I need to contact Firefox. I need to speak to a Firefox representative, but don't see any other phone or direct support from Mozilla/Firefox.

Since May 15th, this month, I used from 3.88 GB to 4.11 in general on my phone (only using phone for text, emails, pics, Navigation rarely, and google. Originally, I downloaded Firefox about a week before that and my "Settings, Data Usage" today reveals Firefox uses the most GB at 1.62 for these past 3 weeks since I downloaded the app. "Background" usage is .01, and "Foreground" is 1.61.

I use Google Browser for everything, and it uses .40 GB.

Why so much GB usage for Firefox?

I recently tried to renew a subscription to continue getting alerts for the ISS flyover times. I entered the info to renew, and was told a code was emailed to my address. After 8 attempts over 2 days to receive the code (which was never sent or in my spam folder), I used Chrome to fill out the form, and immediately received the code.

To log on here to ask this question I used Firefox (and I have Thunderbird for my email) and repeated tries got me no verification code. Switched to Chrome and instantly got the verification email.

Just trying to figure out what is preventing me from receiving authentication codes after typing in legit requests with Firefox.

I am using Win7 (x64) with the latest updates of Firefox and Thunderbird. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

For years this has been working GREAT! Then suddenly after a recent FireFox update, Pinterest broke again.

Used to Function:

• Logged into Pinterest.
• The browser stayed logged in.

Current Function:

• When I load Pinterest.com into a browser page in firefox, it looks like I'm signed in.
• When I attempt to "pin" something to pin (any of the methods available to do so--all 3 have the same result) a pop up from Pinterest appears, says "welcome back" and tells me to log in.
• At first this worked but annoyingly it asked me for every pin I wanted to do. It isn't h olding the session, apparently. Now, after a few moments of pinning recipes and other articles from my email newsletters I want to save for later, it says I've had "too many log in attempts" and am apparently blocked from Pinterest because of it for 30 minutes or longer.

I was logging in with Google. So its blocked everywhere (any browser, any device)

The paste function on Firefox suddenly doesn't work. I've tried to paste passwords from my password manager into different sites and they don't work. The username is acting funky too. It usually pastes into the site after multiple tries.

All of my other bookmarks are accessible as normal. Previously my links to www.legislation.gov.uk worked normally but two days ago the link (and sublinks to specific legislation, which give different line and column numbers) has received the following error message

I'm unable to view a hyperlink from my yahoo email account. I keep getting a message: We can’t connect to the server at r20.rs6.net.

Starting a couple of months ago, images do not load in emails sent by Constant Contact despite the domain of the sender being in Outlook safe sender list. This does not happen in Edge or Chrome or Safari. Interestingly, adding a new domain to the safe sender list will result in Firefox very briefly displaying images then refreshing with them removed.
