There are these weird bugs whenever I start watching videos regardless of website and happens in Firefox and Firefox Beta. This happens randomly. Some videos remain in portrait mode while in some, Firefox totally minimizes the app, then displays "firefox entering full screen mode" at the bottom of the home screen. When I try to reopen without fully closing the app, the app thinks it's still in landscape mode. (See attached file). This only happened several weeks or months ago. Is there any way to fix these?

I just noticed this issue about maybe 2 weeks ago. A few tests seem to show it only happens when I use the Google search engine as my default search option. I tried it with Bing search, and I had no issues. I also tried it in Chrome with NO issues either.

So, when I first open FF and enter a search word or phrase from the homepage/default page, it opens the default search engine Google with the results, along with the word or phrase I entered at the top in the text field under the Google logo. It's this text field that is the issue. I should be able to use the backspace to delete characters and change/update my search criteria, YET every time I press backspace, it just auto generates random suggestions, and then places the cursor at the end of the suggestions, thereby preventing me from being able to type my new search criteria!

I can press the X to clear the field, but then as soon as I start typing, it does the same thing, and starts generating random suggestions, and moving the cursor to the end of the suggestions each time, thus I'm still never able to enter my search criteria.

I have cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled FF, and the issue still persists. I have noticed that sometimes after reinstalling FF, it will work properly for like a minute or so, but then the issue comes back. Also, doesn't seem to matter whether I sign-in using my FF account or not.

Please fix this as I do not want to use Bing for my search engine, and I really don't want to have to go back to Chrome either.

Can't find anything about it, just presumably on browser Firefox. When I accidentally tap "Bing search", it opens up Microsoft Edge, which I don't even have. Deleting Bing as a search engine does nothing. So yeah, please help?

We use about ten Android tablets running Firefox in our shop for our employees to enter on a webpage daily some informations. Tablets are programmed to keep display active 24h/7d, firefox is pinned so the app stay opened and users don't go to other app. The extension LeechBlock NG prevent users from accessing other webistes. Everything work well except on mondays morning.

Without fault first person to try to connect on the website will see the app crash to the desktop. Since the app is pinned user will have to wait for a supervisor to come in and unpin the crashed (and invisible) app, re-launch it and pin it. Then it will work all week without issue as long as the tablet is used at least once a day. We recently added a new tablet which is used less than others and that one does crash during the week but never twice in same day. Wondering if someone can help me decypher this to fix/prevent it. Is it the extension or browser itself that cause the crash if the page hasn't changed long enough? Thanks for suggestions (I will not consider "have you tried without the extension" as a valid suggestion)

I have several tabs open. They're displayed vertically when I hit the tab button. When I close the bottom tab, the list moves down. The "Tab closed UNDO" notification immediately covers the bottom tab. I have to wait a few seconds for it to disappear. How do I get rid of this nuisance? its possible in about:config? i use Firefox Nighty

This recent update in how PDFs are handled is really poor. The responses to the effects of the update seem really arrogant.

No, your PDF viewer is not better than Adobe reader. Even if it was, I want the choice to download directly to my preferred app, even if you think it sucks. I thought Mozilla was all about choice? That's why I thought I donated monthly. I want control over the software I use. It's been a pattern with Mozilla, for example, removing about:config for people who don't want dev builds.

It's seems odd that I'm even explaining this. Please revert this change, it's bad for so many reasons. Please also consider why the culture at Mozilla is giving users less control, not more.

On an Samsung with One UI 5.1 and android version 13. Firefox for android version 113.2.0.

When I install a PWA to the phone and use it, I select a field to enter text, and the keyboard pops up, then disappears again. I tested with app.usmobile.com and bmw.com . I tested with the OpenBoard Keyboard and the Samsung Keyboard. app.usmobile.com works fine within the firefox browser.

Auto filling credit card info never works. The pop up shows, I can choose a card but it does not fill the info. Auto fill in general is very unreliable. Very often it does not pop up at all for logins f.e. The feature to generate a password when making a new account does not seem available at all on mobile?
