How to force the Firefox to use antialiasing the same way as Chrome?

I am part of an email list in which many emails come in everyday. That is why I created a sub-folder in Thunderbird for them, and created a manual filter so that all emails with the email-list's address as addressee are redirected to that sub-folder. I do want to be able to receive all the emails that go to that email list, just in this separate folder, so that it doesn't crowd out my other emails. I set the settings to "filter before Junk classification" and I also put that filter on top of all the filters.

I just realized that many many of the emails to that email list landed in the spam folder instead. The addressee is exactly as stated in my manual filter. It is explicitly set to FIRST go through my manual filter before they can be classified as spam. If Thunderbird did what it says it does, none of these emails should land in the spam folder, because filtered out by my manual filter before.

Does anyone know why this happens, and how to prevent it?

Example. Let's say I'm using FirefoxTranslations to translate an average-sized article, on Wikipedia, from German into English.

On the top left hand side of the screen, FirefoxTranslations tells me it has downloaded 17'140'835 bytes.

It always seems to be the same amount of bytes. This is downloaded for every single translation.

I thought that, once downloaded, the vocabulary would be stored, locally, on my computer. Permanently.

Doesn't look like it's happening.

What am I doing wrong?

I have an installed dropbox as a Filelink provider for large attachments. It used to work properly. Recently I found that there is no warning that my attachments are larger than the 5 MB limit that I set. I work with Windows 11 and my Thunderbird version is 102.10.2

Is there any way to turn off the button "Open video in a new tab" that appears when you hover on an Instagram video? This button is blocking a button from an extension that I want to use.

I see in the blog the roboform extension does not work with Firefox for many users. It errors that it only works in a browser. Why can't Roboform see or associate the connection when Firefox browser is in use. If it is in use, then Roboform should work. Is it a Firefox problem or a roboform problem? Between both of you surely someone can resolve this problem? It seems Roboform has washed their hands of the problem because they reply with a standard enable process that doesn't work for many people. I am on my 2nd new computer and still have the same problem. Again the error states it only works when the browser is in use. If the browser is in use, then what is the problem? thanks for any assistance you can provide.... I like Firefox and Roboform, it would be a blessing to have both working at the same time. I found the use of using right-click on images to get a general menu, and the middle-clicking on "Open image in new tab" a boon, because it would often enlarge the images and make them easier for me to see.

In the past two days, suddenly this has become a hit or miss situation and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I can middle-click on "open image in a new tab" multiple times and get no response. Other times if I hold down for a while and then release, it will open the image. And then other times again it will work as intended.

I'm not quite sure why this issue has suddenly occured.

Firefox is up to date, Version 113.0.2 (64-bit). My mouse is a KLIM Blaze, drivers 3.1 which again seem to be up to date. My middle-click in new-tab is set to true in firefox's config.

Does anyone know why these issues are happening?

This problem is getting worse all the time. Seems like each upgrade it gets worse. I shut down FF expecting it to restore all the tabs when restarting. But... Gone. Currently Mac OS 13.3.1 (22E261) FF Version: 113.0.1 (64-bit)

I have version 102.11.0 on my Mac Catalina. Recently I noticed problems on this Thunderbird. Last month I sent eFaxes that did not go through. My telephone service is looking into that since they provide the email address I am to use for faxing. However, I sent an email with attachment to my GMAIL address, which is not synced with Thunderbird, so that I could bring the file from that inbox into Google Drive. The attachment is a text document I am working on with Google apps. Though the email arrived, in Thunderbird I did not receive a cc: copy, as I usually make with all my email messages. Strange that this should happen after many months of reliability.

Today I noticed that all videos have Arabic CC ..... Mmm, the feature has returned to work again! without any interference from me In order... to make sure the reason...... I disable all my FireFox extensions, and it is surprising that the automatic translation is still working and I recorded a video to see for yourself how to work directly once you enter the video

In your opinion, what is the explanation for that?

I know that YouTube has options for displaying / enable auto-translate always ... but it is only for the English language .... I am talking about the translation of the Arabic language in all videos Sooooo A feature from YouTube itself or what? And if it was, why did it stop in the past four months, and now it has returned to work?

We have multiple computers accessing the same email, everyone applying a specific tag for their emails. We have had the 5 default ones (names customized), then recently added a 6th for a new employee. Since then each user can only see the tags they apply from their screens, nobody else's tags applied (others appear as regular black color). I have tried updating all the email apps on all users, tried removing that new tag on all computers, rebooted, uninstalled TB on 1 computer while the new tag was removed, still cannot see others' tags. Help please! Is there a settings file I can remove? Or some sort of switch or add-on? Perhaps having to do with a new install of virus Bitdefender? There is an add-on for it in TB. Anyone have issues using TAGS suddenly stop working?

Before I got new installation of Firefox (after crash) the start page had correct favicons automatically for every favorite webside button. But now in version 113.0.1 most favicons are wrong and I don't know how to reset them. Please help.

Hello there, Disabling the preview pane in the folder view works as expected, pressing "F8" will disable the preview pane and this remain disabled even after restarting TB. This does not work on the search function, to replicate: 1) make a search 2) open a message in the search result 3) hit "F8" (nothing appens) 4) then if You resize the preview pane until it disappear and You go to "Structure/Preview Pane" it's disabled (?) 5) close the message, open another result and the preview pane will reapper just a little resized...

What we are missing? It is possible there's an advanced settings under "Config editor" to change this behaviour?

Is there way to enable a swipe to delete on the Mac version of Thunderbird?

I use a trackpad for my iMac and would be great if I could browse and remove email without having to take my hand off the trackpad.
