Where is the Print Preview option in OS 10.11 print window?

I just upgraded from OS 10.6.8 to El Capitan 10.11.3 and discovered that the Print Preview option in the print window has disappeared when using Firefox. Apple told me that this is a known issue with Firefox, but now that El Capitan has been out for a while, the assumption is that Firefox and other 3rd party programs will make accommodations for the features that customers need and rely on. Safari still features the ability to preview before printing, and it is a very useful feature. My research found that there were some Firefox toolbar add-ons in the past to restore the print preview function, but apparently they are not applicable to Firefox 45, which is what I am running.

The only way to get a print preview in Firefox now is to click the PDF button in the lower left corner of the print window and select "Open PDF in Preview." From there I can deselect the pages that I do not want to print. While I appreciate being able to do that, it is forcing me to take extra time and steps to do something that was previously effortless and expeditious in 10.6.8. While El Capitan works on my 2009 Mac, it does not run as quickly as 10.6.8 did. Every function seems to be on time-delay now, even though I have 4 GB of memory which allegedly is more than enough to run El Capitan. Having to take these extra steps in Firefox to preview my emails and other documents before printing is wasting a lot of my time while each extra step is taken to be able to preview my print. Is there a fix for this planned?
