Thunderbird won’t retrieve email. Says Connection timed out. But all other devices get email

All of a sudden after years of unsing Thunderbird, it won’t retrieve email. It will send. It says Connection timed out. All my other devices iPhone, etc. get email so it is not the modem or router. I have the latest upgrade. Any ideas to try?
