Ever since the most recent update to Firefox I consistently get the following message when attempting to login to https sites which I have been connecting to for years: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.att.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code:PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Clearly the problem is with Firefox and not with the website owner since it occurs with all websites.

I found over 100 instances of PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR but the few responses I looked at were back in 2021 or 2022. One solution suggested clearing the cache which I did and I was then able to connect. But now that does not help. Is my only reliable solution to delete Firefox and use some inferior browser?

I have prompt in Firefox that says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". I've done a bit of a google and appears to be anti-virus related which I don't have any installed.

Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots is also set to true.

What would be causing this?

Recently , I would say within the last month or so, all the sudden when a site asks for my username and password I cannot use autofill. With Firefox as the auto fill provider or a 3rd part tool password program like Biwarden. For a while this worked like a charm but what happens is this username and password fields come up on a webpage. At the bottom I see firefoxes prompt and Bitwardens prompt to select a username. I can do this in both but when I click on the username nothing happens. I have uninstalled both and reinstalled made each a provider etc... This does not happen with Chrome

This feature and this feature alone has me thinking of just leaving Firefox first the revamp with mobile. Got used to it, now this, sorry but this is a deal breaker.

I am using a OnePlus n10 5g on Metro. Updated as updated can get I am at a loss here but auto fill has be ome useless in Firefox.

Any ideas???

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

When I open emails many times the letters are gibberish. The letters are changed into symbols and weird looking letters. Sometimes closing Firefox and reopening helps, but usually I have to restart my computer. Even then, it may or may not be readable. Some emails are only partially this way, but most are complete gibberish. Has been happening for a few months. I have updated Firefox and am running the newest update. I am using Microsoft 365 email. Other computers in the same office do not have this issue. Any ideas how to fix this?

New version produces "Access Denied" when logging into Chewy.com Please fix this. I tried to add an image, but, like last time, doing so froze the page and I couldn't get back here. Had to start over. Can I revert to the earlier version of Firefox that worked? If so, how?

My Linux/Computer guru passed away 5 years ago I have been using Firefox Quantum 57. 0.4 64 bit for Linux Mint 1.0 but am finding sites I need to access won't open or if they open can't use the functions there. I know nothing about computers and I have not been able to find a tech to take my desktop to to get it updated. I am afraid to update because computer is currently set up with protections so I can do banking etc.. but soon I won't be able to access that. Any suggestions as to what to do at this point or suggestions of tech's in the Far West Valley of Phoenix AZ to assist ? Thanks so much for your time and any suggestions. Cheers,

Just recently I have noticed that the Closed Caption is way out of sync when streaming Prime movies on my PC. CC works fine in Edge, but not Firefox. Looking for some things to try to fix this.

I just went to one of my email folders in Googlemail and it was empty. When I began to check the other folders they are all empty as well, but on Google Chrome and on my phone all the messages are there. Why are they not there in Firefox? Can I get them back?

I just got an add-on called LMMS Music Studio. But every time I click on their icon I am taken to something else called "https://www.offidocs.com/edit-lmms.php?username=810908&fileurl=newfileoriginal" Any ideas?

Hello! When I try to log into my Microsoft 365 Outlooks, I get the following message:

'Your browser is a bit unusual...

Try disabling ad blockers and other extensions, enabling javascript, using a different web browser or turning off your VPN.'

I did go in and turn off the ad blocker. I do not have a VPN, and I could not find anything about Javascript on the Preferences page.

Please let me know what to do so I can log into my email.

In a simple HTML file containing an Arabic / Urdu / Persian phrase: "با نشئہ درویشی در ساز و دمادم زن", Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu, to be more precise) uses the default font (DejaVu Sans) for the whole phrase except for one character (UNICODE: 6C1). Font used for this character is Noto Sans Arabic UI. So the text looks broken due to different fonts.

Please have a look at the attached screenshots for better understanding.

I've tried to search but could not find how exactly Firefox resolves preferences in Font Settings and CSS "font-family" preference to local fonts in Linux. Does this have to do something with "fontconfig"?

How can I make Firefox use only the default font for the whole phrase?
