Thunderbird crashes @ nvwgf2umx.dll on startup on old Win 7 Ultimate machine

Guys hello! I was using thunderbird for my mails on windows 7 on an old machine..Recently it started crashing on startup..I checked for solution on google then i found out i could start with safe mode only...(i wasnt using any addons so disabling them had zero effect)

Because i didnt want to continue with safe mode only, So i zipped my profile folder and created a backup.. Then i downloaded Thunderbird Setup 91.5.0.exe and tried fresh install with deleting the old profile directory...

Now thunderbird doesnt start even with 0 profile..It doesnt start with safe mode too ! I cannot even go to profile manager (thunderbird.exe -p )

I dont know what to do!

I have found crash id but i cannot understand what the problem is! Can anyone help ?

Third, when did you first start crashing, and had you updated from version 78 to 91 just prior to crashing?

You mention your system is old - how old? Model? Laptop or desktop?

A new profile should not be necessary, nor would I expect it to help in the case of a graphics issue.

Firstly, https://crash-stats.thunderbird.net/report/bp-c95d8572-750e-4c6f-83de-11e411220122#tab-details shows you are on version 91.3.1. Please update to 91.5.0.

Also, In help > troubleshooting do "copy to text to clipboard" and post it here.

Thanks for the help..Turns out my nvidia geforce drivers were outdated..I updated them to latest it took a while but now thunderbird is acting smoothly right now..I also loaded my backed up profile it works works works right now thanks very much!

to be honest, this is an old pc of mine now used by my parents. they only check few emails and browse internet. They dont update or install/uninstall anything..The crashing issue started with an old version of thunderbird..not sure maybe 60x or 70x..So in order to solve the problem i updated it to 91.3.1 then to latest 91.5.0 but that didnt change anything so i came here to forums asking for help!
