Data disappears from a web site

I have 2 websites I look at quite often. Both sites have a section from which you can access other services such as Twitter and Facebook. One site works well and displays the Twitter link you can access. The other site (Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Team) initially displays the Twitter link then disappears after about 2 seconds. I think the Twitter link on that site is embedded in a special section and the whole section disappears. Why? Is the a Firefox setting I am missing?
