I want to permanently delete my passwords from Mozilla. Mozilla claims there are none stored, but it fills out all registrations independently. No other browser does that.

Is there a simple method to turn off the annoying popup notifications about upgrading Firefox? I don't want to upgrade, FF seems to be working fine. Sometimes updates bring new problems.

I'm not a programmer, so I'm hoping there is a simple fix to stop update notices. I think it was a bad idea to have them appear in front of other websites. They often popup when I'm watching something on Netflix.

What is fire fox? What is it used for? How can we use firfox for our privacy and Security settings? Does firefox provide us with better privacy and security settings or not? And how do we use firefox?

When playing a youtube video, I can hear the audio playing and see the time passing on but the on screen video is just stuck even when buffered full clip. I check on chrome browser, this doesnt happen there. Reset firefox, the issue is still here

As the title says, Firefox throws "We can’t connect to the server at m.imdb.com." error every time I try to open a page while everything else works like Chrome, Edge and when I ping via command prompt I get replies and other applications. (Win 10 64-bit with latest Firefox)

I think it's a system-wide problem but I can't figure out where. I was under the impression that it's a DNS problem but it doesn't even open IP addresses like 192.168.1.1 and it doesn't open instantly, no matter it's Google.com or my router IP, instant error message.

I tried everything I could find which are:

• Refresh, clean re-install with deleting profile directory
• clearing cache and data
• Toggling these in about:config: network.http.http3.enabled, network.dns.disableIPv6, network.dns.disablePrefetch
• Enabling/disabling my adapter
• Running a couple commands:

   ipconfig /flushdns
   ipconfig /registerdns
   ipconfig /release
   ipconfig /renew

   netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
   netsh winsock reset catalog
   netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
   netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

• Setting proxy to None
• Restarting with Troubleshoot Mode (add-ons disabled)
• Removing Firefox entry from Windows Firewall. (I haven't installed any Firewall and Anti-Virus)
• WIndows's Network Reset
• Rebooting machine and router

I'm sure there are more, these are all I can remember now.

This happened some months ago but can't seem to remember how I fixed it.

The only way it opens sites is with a VPN that sets a system proxy and setting Firefox's proxy to "Use System Proxy Settings".

I am a member of the local library and I sometimes want to search the catalogue or reserve a book from home using my laptop. I have Googled how to put the menbership number and pin as a book mark and it is successful-but only for a short time . The next time I go to log on automatically it doesn't work and I have to input it manually.

I have been to the library and got staff there to put the details in and it works when I am there at the library but fails when I am home.(2 very capable library people tried and both eventually failed)

My library membership number is very long and it is tedious to enter it every time-can you help please? Thanks Peter

When I chose ebay.com the cursor in the tab just keeps going back and forth but never completes the page sign on. After 3 days of the same result, I tried using MS Edge and it worked loading the sign on page and I put in my ID and PW but it sensed I was a "new" computer and wanted me to call ebay to process the "new" computer usage. I didn't want to change to Edge, so I just stopped the process and chose to write to you to get FF "fixed" to keep using as usual.

I had an update of Firefox within the past 2 weeks, in it it said that there was a new feature dealing with PDF conversion using the brower. I may be mixed up on this, and I thought that I had saved the information, but finding it now is not working for me. I was hoping to finally fix some forms/documents that I have so they can be used once again. Can you help? Dan

Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.

I frequently open a web page, start filling in a dialog, switch to another tab to gather evidence, then return to the original dialog. In the past few days, I have experienced the loss of my input into the dialog. Indeed just now when I started searching help, added my question, then was moved to a replacement page to log in, I returned to the question to find it deleted. Earlier today when I had spent ca 15 minutes composing a reply to contribution in a Google discussion group, the same thing happened.

Is there someone in Moxilla who considers that my contributions are really worth deleting, and spends days waiting to pounce on my messages?

Is this a consequence of the new Firefox security system (whose name I cannot check for fear of losing this text along with the previous ones)?

Hello! Recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. I wanted to get browser push notifications from Facebook, specifically Messenger, but it won't toggle on for some reason. When I refresh the page, it's still off. I've allowed Facebook.com permission to send notifications, cleared cookies and cache, and even uninstalling Firefox extensions, but no luck. Any help?

How to reproduce: While private window is open, close Firefox regular window.

Issue: all existing tabs will be lost (Open previous windows and tabs is checked). Hope this got fixed soon.

Expected behavior: All tabs are kept when closing regular window with private window opened

Current workaround: In new window, restore the previous tabs from "History" > "Recently Closed Tabs"

Up until sometimes before Urdu language words were properly displaying in my Firefox browser but no more. They now appear as individual characters instead of properly formed word. please help me to see the Urdu words as before.

Now that Microsoft has sunsetted IE, datascraping is not straight forward. I like firefox browser and would like to use it to datascrape from websites into Excel via VBA. Does Selenium work? Any other solutions?

I updated Firefox to 111.0(64-bit) this morning. My push notification from sites I allow started running through Windows notifications instead just popping up like normal. I read an article that said I could disable this feature through Windows Settings and the push notifications would start showing up like they used to. Unfortunately after I did this I stopped getting push notifications at all. Would have left it to go through Windows notification but it makes an annoying sound every time I got a notification and that got old fast. I just want push notifications back like they used to be.

I run Firefox on Windows 10.

One day, all my Push Notifications on websites like Youtube and such are suddenly going on my Windows 10's action center instead of just showing it on the web browser like it normally does.

Was this a update change or some setting I accidentally changed? (or changed on me) And How do I switch it back?
