can I just get a super simple answer?! I have a new computer. I want to import my firefox settings - especially bookmarks. If I knew where they were stored on my old computer I could import them! or does firefox store them somewhere in my firefox account settings? this should really be a very easy thing to do shouldn't it?

No, I do not want to use my cell phone! or my tablet.

If you want to keep the old system, you could always use sync.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

This is your current profile. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Then Copy the folder to the new system.
