Guys at TB,

It happend again. I updated and irritated by new "features". Who has got an idea to change the interface in the message compose window???? I want old NORMAL interface back!

If you are interested why, here it is: 1. Gray fields (To: CC: etc) assume that they are not editable. In TB they are! Stop confusing user! 2. In new TB those gray fields even do not look like fields! but some horizontal lines! Make them look NORMAL!

P.S. If you have nothing else to do, do not touch anything! or focus on real performance issues reported by me long ago and still not fixed. Do not touch interface! Do not introduce non-standard controls!

This is a public support forum for asking questions about Thunderbird. It is not manned by the developers. It is not a chat forum for ranting. If you want to ask a question then please do.

So, I'm not sure what you actually want as you did not ask a question. But this may help.

Q: You would like to go back to prior version as you do not like the 31.0 Write window. A: Locate previous version here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/24.6.0/ select the type for your OS eg: If Windows click on 'win32' Select the language of choice eg: en-GB = English British then download the exe file

Q: you want to support or report a bug then please 'Vote' for a bug. A: Perhaps you would like to Vote for this bug?

Do not add a 'me too' type of comment unless you can add something which the developers need to be aware about and it has not been already mentioned. Just click on 'Vote' - located in the top section. then select the Vote and clickon the saves changes button. you may need to register.
