Every time I quit Firefox or restart my Macbook, it logs me out of Firefox.
Every time I shut down or quit Firefox, it logs me out. When I open it back up, I have to enter everything as if it's a new device. My login and previous settings all need to be re-entered and it's a giant hassle.
Yes, I've searched and tried the following, to no avail.
The below didn't work for me: Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.
Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.
Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.
Anyone have any ideas here? Short of me never turning off my computer or never quitting Firefox, I have to re-do all of this every time I open my browser.
Thanks!
