Firefox 24 crashes at start up even in safe mode. Crash ID: bp-349f80db-abca-4c7f-9bec-bfbc02130921
I have followed the instructions for uninstalling firefox, deleting the program folder and reinstalling. This did not solve my problem.

Do you still get crash reports that mention RapportTanzan24.dll ?
Try to update or uninstall and reinstall Trusteer Rapport and if that doesn't help then disable/stop the program for now.
- Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport

hello kjthornburg, thanks for reporting with your crash ID. this kind of crash is caused by trusteer rapport, please see if you can solve it by updating that program to its latest version or else keep it disabled for the moment and contact trusteer's support: www.trusteer.com/support
I updated trusteer as suggested but that did not help.
