Hi

I'm trying to develop a mtls based login, currently on macos. I have a certificate chain with 3 certificates (CA->intermediate->leaf).

Firefox prompts to select a certificate, but only the leaf is sent to the server. However when I try it on Safari all 3 are sent.

It tried both non-trusted ca and trusted ca, but I can't get it to work.

Is it something in the certificate definition? Maybe a flag I need to toggle in FF?

Thank you for all you do for those like me. God Bless you all. Firefox is straight up. Google Play on this android phone is Corrupt. I reported to Google but they did nothing. The play store is not in the USA. It will not up date correctly. Apps on phone constantly change. An case I'd was sent in regards to the google cloud platform back in Sept 2022. That is when I first told then. Nothing done. Version of Play not up- dated. Cannot sign out of Google Play. I am disabled and very little monies. So I guess that's a good reason for my problem to be ignored by Google. I came to Firefox because I was so tired of the abuse of Chrome. There are apps on this phone like Chrome are being enabled even though I have tried to remove all access. I live a very simple life. Immune problems keeps me from contact with others. Limited. My doctors contact me by tele-med. I depend on this phone. Please help. Thank you gw

Once a while Firefox would freeze up and when that happens it would without fail reboots the phone if the phone goes to sleep and if I don't force close the app quickly. It might've done so anyway without putting it to sleep but I haven't tested leaving the screen on long enough. I noticed that if I was quick enough and force stop the app the phone doesn't reboot, but that window is really short. Maybe 2 seconds or so. Suffice to say force stopping didn't always work since the window is so short. When Firefox freezes other apps and phone functions work normally. It's been ongoing for a while through multiple updates. I see some people have already reported this same issue here. Can Mozilla fix this please? I have uBlock origin addon installed thanks. Also this never happened with my Pixel 3 phone which I was using up until a few months back so maybe it's pixel 6a specific. Alot of people have this same issue with pxiel6a from googling. It can freeze on any site I visit but one example is reddit.

In the past few weeks i cannot sign in to my accounts with different vendors like Amazon. A pop up window appears when I click on "Sign In" and the window states, and I quote: "Open in another app

                                                                                                         Would you like to leave Firefox to view this content?"
                                                                                                          Cancel                     Open 

If I click on Cancel it will let me enter the email or phone number in the site pop up box. But, once entered and pressing the continue box, which would normally take you to the password box, it brings up the same window as above. Then it does not matter whether i click on Cancel or Open, it will not give me a password box and will not take me to the site. It presents a page that states We're sorry, The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. So, I cannot call any Firefox Tech person and get this straightened out. Also today, the website icons I have saved to my home page were greyed out today. I went to Verizon and they determined it was an issue with Firefox since that is how I accessed those sites and used that search engine to save them to the home screen. I decided to reload those one at a time and then erase the greyed out icons. When I got the 3rd one done the other 29 became live again. Not sure what is at issue here but i do need assistance. I have 3 firefox accounts with different logins for different purposes. On my phone I usually use my recreational account but I wanted to see my work related logins. I logged out of my recreational account and logged into my work account and went to look at the logins. I then found out that all my logins were overwritten with the recreational logins from the other account. I thought this might be a bug on the phone and it was displaying the wrong thing but when I checked on my laptop they were overwritten there as well.

Is there anyway to rollback firefox logins?

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

On my Android 12 Motorola phone watching YouTube on Firefox for Android, I am seeing captions/subtitles both on the YouTube screen and separate from the YouTube screen overlaying the page. I do not have a caption add-on. I can turn the YouTube screen captions on and off using YouTube Payback Settings, but I cannot see how or where to turn off the captions overlaying (see screenshot) the YouTube web page/Firefox for Android app. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah YouTube is really really jumping every time you go watch something on it doesn't play correctly. I believe it needs to have some work done to it if you could let me know what it needs to have done I thank you very much.

I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

I have Firefox for Android on my Samsung tablet version 111. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

How can I resolve the issue of my website not displaying properly on Mozilla Firefox browser, specifically with regards to the layout and formatting? Are there any specific CSS or HTML codes that need to be modified to ensure compatibility with Firefox, and are there any known compatibility issues between Firefox and certain web development frameworks or libraries that I should be aware of?

I'm experiencing a strange problem with this Google review-link for my customer:

After the login-procedure for Google I end up with a 404-Error and can't find any help at Google. I also wonder where that local URL is coming from.

It works on iOS and on Chrome or Samsung Internet on Android. Here's the error message: The requested URL /local/writereview?placeid=ChIJazm4u47ql0cRsiGgJDKAtQ8&source=g.page.m.ia._&laa=nmx-review-solicitation-ia2 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

I already tried to disable safe browsing and cleared my cache. Nothing helps. Looks like a bug.

I installed the "Google" app and the "Firefox" app. When I used the "Google" app to search for images, I found that I couldn't open the searched websites. I tried to use the Samsung browser or Chrome browser and did not have this problem. Is there a way to allow popups as a whole or from specific sites? Some support chats open in a separate window as a popup and I cannot view them. I have to use a different browser in that situation and I would rather stick to Firefox

Firefox UI is rendered on 120Hz and when I open any website the refresh rate drops to 60Hz. I can't find any obvious way to fix it. I tried only with official full release of the app. I have Realme GT Master Edition running Android 13.

I've been a Firefox addict for a long time. However, when I take a screenshot of the website in Firefox, the phrase "go to website" does not appear on the image. I know this is a special request for me. However, I want a feature that other web browsers offer.
